Peoples Natural Gas CEO: “Incredible economic boom” coming to Pa.

People’s Natural Gas President and CEO Morgan O’Brien told the Shale Insight crowd that Pennsylvania’s economic future lies in natural gas.

O’Brien said the latest proof of that fact comes from a recent study done to help unlock the state’s economic potential through its vast energy resources.

“This is going to be the beginning of an incredible economic boom,” O’Brien said during the third and final mini keynote address this morning at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. “This is going to happen, and it’s happening today.

“This report is another stake in the ground that shows [natural gas] is the future of the state.”

O’Brien also told the crowd that “you have to grow the economy” if Pennsylvania wishes to solve its budget issues.
